RUBY Ordering Ruby through Wendy made the experience extra special with her weekly update of photos, from Ruby opening her eyes and through the weeks until she flew from Wellington to Dunedin. As first time dog owners Wendys help & advice answered our many questions. Ruby arrived healthy and hungry at 8 weeks. She came toilet trained by her mum, so it has been very rare to have an accident inside. Taking Ruby through obedience school seemed to be more about us learning what to do than her; she caught onto what was expected very quickly. |
Through the day she has the freedom to play round Ruby has a great nature, friendly & outgoing and very eager to please. It's rare to hear her bark and she doesn't shed her coat. I have found her coat easy to look after as she receives a brush each day. She has lots of energy and loves a walk each day, though when this is not possible she will race around the property entertaining herself. Her size makes her easy to handle & take places. GRACIE At the end of last year we lost our grandbaby to a rare disease. I went looking for a pup for my little 6yr old girl to help fulfill the gap that was left in us. I looked for quite some time and came across Rangeview Kennels on the Trade Me site. The first thing that caught my eye was the presentation of the pups in the photo's. I was reluctant to purchase a pup without first sighting mum and dad, this was very important and gave me a clear idea of how the pups would grow. There were a range of photo's from previous pups plus mum and dad, my little girl and myself couldn't help falling in love with the photo's. It was very clear that the pups were born and bred in a loving family environment. I contacted Wendy, from there we chose our pup from the numerous photo's and information she sent me. Wendy kept us up to date with the progress of our chosen girl Gracie and sent photo's of her progress. Wendy arranged to have our Gracie flown up to us, she sent me an itinery of her feeding times, sleep times and what and how she had been raised to date, there was also little tips which was great as it had been a few years since I had had a pup, she informed us of her progress when Gracie had been to the vet for her checks and vaccinations, text me to let me know Gracie's plane had left and she was on her way to us. |
After we had her at home for a while it became Purchasing a pup is an important decision, that pup becomes a part of the family for years. It cannot be a pot luck choice it must be an informed decision. I cannot say enough to highly recommend Wendy (breeder) and Rangeview kennels. Gracie is everything plus more that I could ever expect, we simply love her to bits. If you are looking for a pup you simply cannot go past Rangeview Kennels. RUBY After a very heartbreaking year I made a decision to get a dog and a Schnoodle was high on the list. I did a search and Wendy's kennel Rangeview Schnoodles came up. The time I was looking was at the end of the puppy season and there were not many puppies around. When I contacted Wendy she only had the one puppy left, which was Ruby. She was a little older at 12 weeks old and I did have my reservations about this. Via e-mail I found out about Ruby and what to expect with a Schnoodle. With Ruby being down the line we were unable to see her or meet her parents, but I was satisfied with the information Wendy shared and I was happy to go through with getting Ruby. She arrived on a Friday after a long flight for a little girl, she looked out at me from her cage full of confidence and eager to explore. We got her home and at first I was not sure if I had done the right thing by getting a puppy again, with all the work and care she needed |
Well Dooby has shown us what an independent and She is very adaptable and great around other people and small children. Yet for a little dog she has a mighty bark when she is letting us know someone is coming on the property. We are able to leave her all day while we work, we take her to cafes and never a place we go does Dooby not win someone over. Dooby has been very easy to train and even won "Top Dog" at puppy training. She is just a delight to have and we look forward to many happy years with her. DIGBY Schnoodles are the best kind of dogs they can be the most playful dogs but still look calm and clean. Our dog digby is a schnoodle he is a beautiful black dog with an awesome personality. He has a long beard which brings out the schnozer in him and his long curly fur which brings out the poodle in him he is very hansome and almost posh because when he lies down his back legs lie flat against the ground and he crossed his front legs He is a social dog he loves anybody who comes near him but barks at trespassers. He has many dog friends. Everytime we come home he takes the chance to express his love by moaning/talking at us we think he's trying to say how much he missed us. The good thing about him is he wouldn't hurt a fly hes very gentle and only nibbles or licks you hand. He tries and encourages us to play fetch or chase games he enjoys a lot! |
When he's good we give him a treat of smackos or a One of Digbys favourite places is the beach he loves to run across the beach and sniffing around rock pools he helps us dig our sand castles but nothings better than having a lazy by the fire, stretching in every direction he can Digby came from two dogs named Cole and Rupert Digby is 1/2 poodle and the rest schnozer We ended up getting him instead of the other puppies is that he was the most playful and biggest he was very funny and still is. RUBY I found Wendy and Rangeview Schnoodles via Trade Me. I was looking for a schnoodle and made direct contact with Wendy. She was fantastic from the word go. I wasn't sure what to expect, so when my job took me to Masterton for the night, I arranged to visit Wendy and meet her schnoodles. I instantly knew that I just had to have one! Ruby arrived last August (2008) and she has been a total delight ever since. |
She is just so much fun, has the most adorable I am already considering getting a friend for Ruby and there is no question in mind that I'll be getting the pup from Rangeview Schnoodles! SARAH MEIKLE |

she hasn't taken to wandering off, she seems to prefer to be where we
are.
evident to us that Wendy is an awesome breeder, our
pup was toilet trained when she arrived, she settled in instantly and she
was a part of our family. She was and is such a placid little darling with
an awesome nature. Gracie runs around with my girl, It really is like
having another child. She is a bit of a tomboy but definitely a girl. She
loves to play fight with my little girl and they go everywhere together. A
little girl and her dog and it is so cute. Gracie is not a little yapper,
she has not chewed or eaten our house and furniture. She is well mannered,
very social and never roams to far from us. She is a loyal loyal dog and I
love coming home to her and getting the greeting. She is super intelligent
and learns instantly, she is a remarkable dog and to add to the greatness
she doesn't shed fur.
understanding commands and what we say to her, is a
very loving gentle dog but has heaps of energy when it comes to going for
walks. She's great company and we wouldn't be without her. She's even
converted the non dog loving members of our family into thinking they'd
like one.
smart young lady she is. She has fitted into our family
beautifully; even the cat sort of likes her now. Dooby is my son's best
friend, they play rugby, soccer, catch, she goes everywhere with us
including on our boat. My husband, who was dead against us getting another
dog, is her biggest fan now. He has just moved her into our room to sleep
at night, as it is "too cold" in the laundry now.

personality and is fabulous with people and children.
I am continually receiving comments from people as to just what a lovely
natured dog she is .. not to mention also very cute!
