This is a low allergy breed with non shedding coats. I am able to take all my dogs in the car and never find any hair - only dirty paw marks.

Most pups have lovely soft coats, and generally they are loose and wavy.

They ideally need brushing at least once a week and clipping approximately four times a year. This will depend on how regularly they are brushed and on what sort of look you prefer for your dog. In summer I keep mine with a shorter coat because of the grass seeds that get caught in them.

Schnoodles are highly intelligent and are able to understand commands easily. Simple sentences and words are soon understood and you will often find they are way ahead of their owners on what's next to be done.

My schnoodles are the perfect size to sit between the kids in the back seat of the car and most can squeeze through a standard cat door.

They can be quite content pottering around the yard, but many of my puppies have turned into little boaties when they have left home - enjoying days on yachts and running along beaches. Most schnoodles are keen on water whether it's the beach, river or playing with the sprinkler. Mine love going for walks up in the Tararua Ranges. Schnoodles are also doing really well in agility.
